It’s always cool to go back and see what reviews were more popular than others throughout the years. Sometimes it can be quite surprising which reviews really blow up and get lots of traffic and which ones just can’t gain traction. Just like last year we decided to pop open Google Analytic and pull our numbers for the full year to see what reviews garnered the most love. We did things a little different this year trying to get these numbers a little more accurate. We pulled the numbers for the full year and averaged them out by number of months posted to get an estimate of how many hits the review would have for a full year. This is still not perfect but we thought it was a good way to go.

First we’ll show the actual numbers, our top 10 reviews, then we’ll go crazy and list out our top 10 favorite reviews from the aspect of cars we enjoyed driving.

Our list of top 10 cars we enjoyed most reviewing in no particular order.

• Scion FR-S – Las Vegas Preview and Quick Drive

  This is obviously one of our favorite cars of the year. It’s a light, rear-wheel-drive, sporty coupe and we loved driving it! It didn’t hurt that Scion flew us to Vegas for the launch and we were able to drive the FR-S in some great circumstances! Be sure to check out this review if you haven’t yet!

• 2013 Ram 1500 – Nashville Preview and Quick Drive Review

  The Ram 1500 won Truck of Texas this year and there is no doubt as to why; this is one great truck. They have done so much improvement, inside and out, on this truck and I really enjoyed my time with it.

• The Jeep Grand Cherokee won SUV of Texas for the 3rd consecutive year and there’s no doubting this award either. We’ve driven the Grand Cherokee off-road, on a track, and normal everyday driving and have loved ever minute of it.

• Full Review of the 2013 Nissan 370Z Touring

  We always love driving enthusiast cars and the 370Z is one of the big names to mark off your bucket list. We had the chance to do that this year and bring you guys a fun review and video.

• Full Review – 2012 Audi Q5 2.0T quattro Tiptronic

  The Q5 was the first Audi we were able to acquire as a press car for a week and driving this luxury SUV around in that time was a real treat. Although we suggest for most Texans another option, we still adore pretty much everything Audi brings to the table.

• Red Hot – 2012 Honda Civic Si – Full Review

  The prior year we had a lot of fun bashing on the normal Honda Civic Coupe and were never really happy with what Honda offered up. We did say we would hold out hope for the Si trimmed Civic and were we surprised! This Civic Si was a blast to drive and priced just right.

• 2013 Nissan GTR: a Quick Drive with txGarage

  Do I really even need to explain this one? It’s a freaking GTR! Godzilla! Yes being able to spend some time in this car made my year. It’s expensive and brutally fast and I loved every second of it out on the track. Driving on the road was quite fun as well.

• Full Review of the 2013 Lexus GS 350 F-Sport

  I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the new GS and with the F-Sport badge I was actually looking to be disappointing. Boy did Lexus prove me wrong. This car is a ton of fun to drive and even better when you’re ready to relax and kick back. It was such a nice car we talked a coworker into buying one.

• 2012 Jaguar XFR a Quick Drive with txGarage

  There’s a certain time of year where we get to drive some cars we normally wouldn’t be privileged to review at the Texas Spring Challenge. Inevitably we fall in love with a few of these rides much like we have with the Jaguar XFR. This sedan has it all; looks, power, handling, and luxury!

• 2012 Audi A7 3.0 TFSI quattro a Quick Drive with txGarage

  This is another car we had the chance to thrash around during our Spring Challenge event and yet another Audi for us to lust after. I’ve always liked the looks of the A7 but after driving this one it’s easy to say that the A7 is the total package as well.
