SAFETY RECALL BY VIN NUMBER

This past week saw a tenth death related to Takata airbags. In the most recent case, a 17-year old girl died, in an otherwise survivable accident, due to a faulty Takata airbag. With that,we are listing the NHTSA website so that you, our readers, can quickly and easily find out if your specific vehicle has been recalled for safety reasons, including – of course – Takata airbags.

While the database includes Takata airbag recalls, it is not limited to those recalls.The online tool is simple to use. Just go to the website shown, and follow the easy instructions to plug in your vehicle VIN number.
