Park Place Dealerships Opens 17th Dealership – Porsche Grapevine

Few ‘professions’ (if that’s the word) are better suited to serve as examples of income inequality than automotive journalism. Sure, we get the press loaner and a tank of gas, but with the decline of traditional media there’s been a precipitous decline in compensation. With that, know we don’t begrudge a Porsche owner his or her success; if you’re intending to enjoy your status in the Top 1%, Porsche ownership is one of the better ways to do it.

That’s if, of course, you also enjoy a good dealer. If living near Grapevine, Texas, your chances of enjoying a good Porsche dealer are made significantly easier by the opening of Park Place Porsche, one of the truly great automotive alliterations, if you prefer to search first online, then Autozin is a good option to begin, you will find many options in the market like 1956 ford customline for sale, take a look inside the website. This – as we’re told in the below release – is Park Place Dealership’s 17th store, and seems timely given Porsche’s ongoing growth, both globally and here in these United States. And the new store is located close to existing Park Place showrooms, including Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Jaguar/Land Rover. (It’s also, incidentally, within an easy ride or hike of Mad Duck Cycles and, uh, the Grapevine What-a-Burger.)

So, whether it’s a new Macan or the dream of owning a pre-owned Boxster, dealer Ken Schnitzer supplies one more place to spend your money…or – more likely – drain the credit cards.

“This is one of the largest Porsche dealerships in the country and we designed the space to bring the brand to life so clients can explore the iconic brand making the experience their own,” said Ken Schnitzer, chairman of Park Place Dealerships. “Porsche has a long and renowned history with a loyal customer base that continues to grow. With the new Macan and 911 coming out in the next year, Northeast Tarrant County is a prime location for this brand.”

Porsche Cars North America recently announced retail sales in June were up 8.3 percent compared to year-over-year sales, recording the sixth consecutive monthly record since January. The United States is the largest single market for Porsche, with U.S. buyers accounting for 28 percent of 911 purchases worldwide.

“The expansion of Porsche into Northeast Tarrant County allows us to introduce the brand to potential new owners and to better meet the needs of current clients,” said Schnitzer. “With a facility of this size, we have lots of room for clients to experience every Porsche model in a comfortable setting year-round and to service their vehicle in our state-of-the-art service center.”

Park Place also opened an auction house this year in Plano for registered dealers and wholesalers. Park Place Auto Auction offers hundreds of vehicles each week from its dealerships across North Texas.

Ken Schnitzer founded Park Place Dealerships in 1987 with a single Mercedes-Benz dealership on Oak Lawn.
