The 2014 Dallas Auto Show
We had the great pleasure of attending the media preview for the 2014 Dallas Auto Show and we snapped a few photos along the way. Check out our mega-photo-gallery!
The 2015 Ford Expedition
Yes we had the opportunity to check out the new Expedition at the pre-launch party and on the Dallas Auto Show floor. Dallas and Texas as a whole is a huge market for Ford trucks and SUVs and the people at Ford realize this. It’s good that they show love to us here by launching such an iconic vehicle here in Dallas and not one of the bigger shows like Chicago or Detroit.
Audi in the house
Audi always has a phenomenal setup at auto shows and here in Dallas is no different. Most notable on display at Audi is the new A3 Sedan and the R8 hiding in the back.
The 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban
Another iconic SUV for Texas is the Suburban and Tahoe and for the first time we’re able to actually see inside! What an interior they’ve fitted in these too!
Ram shows off the Truck of Texas
With a trucks that’s been named Truck of Texas for 2 Years in a row now, Ram sure does want to put that on display here. They’ve also brought with them a nice indoor test track for the first time in Dallas. Here you can ride along as you’re taken around the track and able to get a feel for how good this truck is.
A mind blowing Corvette
These white and blue Corvettes really grab your attention as soon as you enter the show floor. This is the first, new convertible Stingray Vette we’ve gotten to see but instantly fell in love! If you haven’t gotten a chance to get up close to one of these new American Supercars, get to the Dallas Auto Show and check it out!
The New Chrysler 200S and 200C
This isn’t the first time we’ve laid eyes on the new Chrysler 200 but it’s still worth checking out and mentioning. The previous generation was an attempt at renaming the Sebring, which was never a great vehicle, but this new one is based of the Italian Alfa Romeo platform and is quite sharp!
Dodge turns 100
Dodge is celebrating their 100th birthday and has brought a few special vehicles to the floor of the Dallas Auto Show including a Shaker Challenger, a 100th Anniversary Charger, and an all new Journey. There’s something to get excited about for anyone here in the Dodge section so be sure to check these things out.
Nissan Brings the Power
If you checkout the Nissan display you’ll notice a few vehicles like the new all electric Leaf and this 2014 Rogue but there’s no missing the 2015 Nismo GT-R. This car doesn’t just look awesome it is pure awesome on the road or track. I really like what they’ve done with the interior for this Nismo edition as well.
2015 Ford F-150 – needs no introduction
If you’re a truck lover you can’t miss the opportunity to check out the 2015 F-150. As you might be able to tell from the sheer number of photos, this is a vehicle we just couldn’t walk away from. We’re really looking forward to spending some time behind the wheel of this truck!
2015 Ford Mustang – the world Pony Car
Speaking of iconic vehicles from Ford, you need to checkout the all new Ford Mustang. With all new looks and dimensions this pony car is built to satisfy its base but also appeal to a world audience. We’re excited to check this one out as well.
A Hyundai to rule them all
If you’ve read our reviews before you’ll know that we’ve grown into fans of many Hyundai products but none more than the Genesis Sedan and Coupe. So imagine our excitement to see the new Genesis Sedan right here in Dallas. Looks good right?
Pagani Huayra – the most expensive car you’ve never heard of.
Another shock was seeing a Pagani on the floor here at the Dallas Auto Show but Dallas is one of only 4 dealers in the U.S. Also the first Huayra sold in the U.S. will be sold to a Texas buyer. We got the rare opportunity to touch, sit in, and play with this $2-million dollar, 730-horsepower, 230+ mile-an-hour, hyper-car. Check out these photos and a quick video.
Lexus on display in Dallas
Lexus had a nice spread out on the show floor which included cars like the LFA and new IS F-Sport. Also the new 200h with updated body styling caught our eye. I’m still debating if it really works on this hot-electric-hatchback.
True American Luxury
Cadillac has been making great strides the past 5-years and it all started with the CTS. Well they’ve brought the all new CTS to the Dallas Auto Show and it’s a looker! They will also have the new ATS Coupe which we were really excited to see but it hadn’t quite made it to the show by the time we were there. Maybe next time.
A show worthy of Texas
There was so much more at the show that we can’t call out specifically but here’s a massive dump of photos! This is one of the best and most exciting shows I’ve seen in Dallas in the past 5-years. Be sure to check it out before their packed up and gone! Also be sure to keep an eye out here on txGarage for reviews of all the latest cars, trucks, and SUVs.
