On the heels of our week in a Lexus CT 200h, we read this article showing what Gazoo Racing sees in its racing future. Although we like this car a lot more than we anticipated, which you’ll read about soon, we are not sure that we’d go this far.
The car in question is basically bone stock, except required safety modifications. The other thing that is not stock is the gas engine that powers the wheels and charged the electronic system. This racing CT has a 2.4 liter engine instead of the 1.8 liter in the original car. Is this all for racing or might Lexus be testing this setup for future development? We’re not sure, but we would love to drive it!
