Quick Drive: 2012 Volvo S60
One of the great things about being involved in the Texas Auto Roundup is getting the opportunity to really test some cars we wouldn’t normally test. Case in point, the Volvo S60. We haven’t featured a Volvo on txGarage before, but it’s not because there are no Volvos we like. So when given the chance, we jumped right into this sedan.

This car was made to show off Volvo’s new design language. The company has been going through many difficulties, but being able to come out with a great looking car could revive the brand. I think it looks pretty sharp. It’s definitely a step in the right direction for Volvo. Everything about this car was nice; not great, but nice. It all worked well and looked good, but if Volvo really wants to compete with the Mercedes C-Class, Audi A4, or BMW 3-series, they’ll have to step it up a little more.
Thanks to our friends at Non-Stock Photography for the photos.
