What’s coming up at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend?

TMS will be hosting 2 great events this coming weekend including the Firestone 550 IZOD IndyCar race and Hoon Kaboom a crazy X-Games style rally race.

The Fastest Race in Texas:

The Firestone 550 IZOD IndyCar Series race is one of the most popular events on INDYCAR’s annual schedule. High speeds, under-the-lights action and some of the most talented drivers in the world make this a must-see event. Blinking, of course, may be necessary, but not recommended.

Look for Helio Castroneves and Marco Andretti.

The Craziest Race in Texas:

Serving as the final qualifier on the road to X Games, Hoon KaboomTX adds a component of exhilaration and boldness to our June race lineup. Including drivers that come from an array of backgrounds like motocross, BMX, stunt driving and more, they all possess one key element: No Fear, No Limits. Drivers progress through a series of heat races to advance into a final round where winner takes all.

Look for Travis Pastrana and Tanner Foust.
