Lexus Unveils the First-Ever TX SUV, Redefining Luxury and Comfort

AUSTIN, Texas – Lexus, the renowned luxury automaker, has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the first-ever TX SUV, designed exclusively for the North American market. The 2024 Lexus TX promises to revolutionize the three-row SUV segment with its spacious interior, cutting-edge technology, and remarkable performance.

After reading the announcement from Lexus I had to double check that I wasn’t getting trolled. This is the perfect Texas SUV, so did Lexus recognize that with the name TX? The TX though slots nicely in Lexus’ lineup in-between the GS and LS SUVs.

Recognizing the increasing demand for a luxury SUV that offers ample space and seating, Lexus took on the challenge to create a vehicle that caters to the evolving needs of its discerning customers. With the introduction of the TX, every seat becomes the best seat in the house, ensuring an exceptional and comfortable experience for all passengers.

Dejuan Ross, Group Vice President and General Manager of the Lexus Division, expressed his excitement about this groundbreaking release, stating, “This is a pivotal moment for our brand, creating an elegant and indulgent vehicle experience for every single passenger. TX prioritizes comfort in every row and embodies our steadfast commitment to electrification, technology, performance, and design.”

One of the standout features of the 2024 Lexus TX is its spacious interior, providing ample legroom in the third row and an impressive 20.1 cubic-feet of cargo space behind the third row. This generous cabin space ensures that all passengers can relax and enjoy the journey, without compromising on luggage capacity.

The TX offers two electrified powertrain options to cater to different preferences and driving styles. The first option combines a Plug-in Hybrid system with a powerful V6 engine, delivering an optimal blend of efficiency and performance. The second option, exclusively available in the F SPORT Performance variant, features a high-performance 2.4L turbocharged hybrid engine, offering exhilarating power and enhanced driving dynamics.

Built on the foundation of Lexus Driving Signature, the 2024 TX provides an unmatched driving experience. Its superior handling and smooth ride ensure a serene atmosphere for passengers, while the driver can relish in the excitement of the road. The vehicle has been meticulously tuned to strike a perfect balance between comfort and performance, showcasing the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional driving dynamics.

In a historic move, the 2024 Lexus TX will be assembled at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana (TMMI) plant. This marks the first time a Lexus vehicle will be produced at this facility, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to local manufacturing and quality craftsmanship.

The 2024 TX comes equipped with advanced safety features, including the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, ensuring peace of mind for all occupants. Additionally, the vehicle boasts the latest Lexus Interface Multimedia System, featuring a standard 14-inch touchscreen for seamless connectivity and entertainment.

The striking design of the TX is accentuated by the new Lexus Unified Spindle grille, enhancing aerodynamic performance and vehicle stability. This distinctive grille represents the evolution of Lexus’ design language and exemplifies the brand’s commitment to marrying style with functionality.

The 2024 Lexus TX is set to redefine the luxury SUV landscape, catering to the diverse needs of modern drivers and passengers. With its unparalleled spaciousness, electrified powertrain options, exceptional driving dynamics, and cutting-edge technology, the TX is a true testament to Lexus’ pursuit of automotive perfection.

It’s not everyday we get a whole new model from a company like Lexus so I’m definitely excited to check out this all-new family 3-row SUV.
