2016 Progressive International Motorcycle Show:
Two Close for Comfort
With no NFL (except its ‘Network’), and still fully ensconced in Chicago’s version of winter, if you and yours are at all into two-wheel transport – or think you might be – you owe it to yourselves to get your butts off the couch and drag yourselves to this weekend’s Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Rosemont’s Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. It begins Friday, February 12th and will run thru Sunday, February 14th. Nowhere – that weekend – will you find a better representation of all that’s fun in the motorized world.
The Progressive International Motorcycle Show is a calendar of approximately ten stops across the U.S., beginning last fall in Portland, arriving in Chicago this weekend and concluding in Phoenix on February 21st. After which, in many areas of the country, we’ll be too busy riding to aim ourselves toward a convention center. Attendees will see a motorcycle industry finally on the rebound, with the domestic, Euro and Japanese brands all showing not only signs of product life, but actual marketing urgency. Nothing brings energy to the market quite like new product, and seemingly all players at the show – which is most of the OEMs selling in the U.S. – have something new to talk about, along with an animated delivery when talking. Here, then, is the What, When and Where:
WHAT: PROGRESSIVE INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOW
WHERE: DONALD E. STEPHENS CONVENTION CENTER,
ROSEMONT, ILLINOIS
WHEN: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH THRU SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH.
