Discovery Channel’s Sacred Steel Bikes Debuts Monday, September 12th
If you managed to survive Discovery’s H-D biopic, Harley & The Davidsons this past week, know that a voracious appetite for all thing’s V-Twin can still be satiated – OK, possibly satiated – by a look at Discovery’s newest paean to hard metal, Sacred Steel Bikes. As described in the press material, the Steel series follows a ‘diverse group of elite individuals who come from a multitude of careers. (Which sounds a lot like the staff at txGarage.com – ed.) From an automotive engineer to a metal fabricator to a high-end Beverly Hills retail associate, artisans from all spectrums of life are united in their passion for bike building and riding. The club – Douche Larouche – has granted them a motorcycle oasis to live out their alter egos.’ Yup.
Led by Sacred Steel founder Jason Wilson, the Los Angeles-based shop fabricates customs while also restoring American classics. And if the premise has a saving grace, it would look to be the restorations. The jury will remain out as to whether Sacred Steel Bikes will be an American classic but looks as if it’s worth a try.
The new show debuts this Monday, September 12th at 10 PM ET/PT, which is 9 PM here in these parts. Check your local cable system for the channel in your area. Please.
