EuroSport 35th Anniversary Open House

Those of us in North Texas with an enthusiasm for two wheels – especially Euro-centric wheels – would be hard pressed to realize that it’s been 35 years since Tony and Martha Lewis first opened Eurosport Cycle in Fort Worth. Reagan was in his first term, the economy – if memory serves – was in a funk, and ‘ADV’ was thought to be something other than ‘adventure’. But there Martha and Tony were, evangelizing their own brand of motorcycle enthusiasm. Thankfully, they continue to do it, having built a super-successful business model, selling Ducati, Guzzi and Triumph, just a few exits east of downtown Fort Worth.

Last weekend they celebrated. And while we – regrettably – weren’t there, our contributor, Paul Valentine, was. His pictures capture the feel, and – we’ll add – the friendliness.

Here’s a few of Paul’s great photos but be sure to check all of them out in his gallery HERE!

Boldt, a contributor to outlets such as AutoTrader.com, Kelley Blue Book and Autoblog, brings to his laptop some forty years of experience in automotive retail, journalism and public relations. He is a member of the Texas Auto Writers Association, The Washington Automotive Press Association and L.A.'s Motor Press Guild. David is the Managing Editor of txGarage, a regular panelist on the AutoNetwork Reports webcast/podcast, and the automotive contributor to Dallas' Katy Trail Weekly.
