Reviving History: Exploring Vintage Cars at Wood Waves and Wheels in Fort Worth

If there’s a better testimonial to our independence, it’s the arrival of the automobile in the early 20th century. With mass production, cars and trucks were available to a wide swath of the population, eventually making both the short commute and long road vacations possible. In North Texas, few celebrations of the automobile strike a chord quite like WOOD WAVES AND WHEELS, held annually at the Fort Worth Boat Club. Once again, contributor Paul Valentine was able to document the entries – while we celebrate the entries.
