The hybrid variant of the Sportage is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a full parallel hybrid system, delivering 227 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. It has a combined fuel efficiency rating of 38 mpg and comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige AWD comes with standard all-wheel drive and offers four drive modes. It has 8.3 inches of ground clearance.

Inside the Sportage, notable features include Harman Kardon® Premium Audio with 400 Watts and 8 speakers, a heated front windshield to prevent ice or snow buildup, and a 12.3-inch dual panoramic display. The vehicle also offers advanced technology features such as a blind-spot view monitor, remote smart parking assist, and a 360 surround view monitor.

The Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige AWD starts at $36,390, with the review vehicle having a full MSRP of $38,530.
