DALLAS – DART is cutting ties with the company that operates its para-transit vans.
Veolia Transportation has driven for DART since January 2001, but when its contract expires at the end of September, so will its services.
Terminated employees could be offered jobs by DART or its new contractor.
In June, a DART para-transit van ran into stopped traffic on the Dallas North Tollway. The driver was dismissed.
There was no reference to that wreck in the notification.
