North Texas Norton Owners Converge on East Texas Lake

A Houston-based friend spent his freshman year at college, some 45 years ago, amazing me with his Norton Commando. To that end, when I might have been hitting a book I spent way too many hours at a Norton/Guzzi dealership in Houston, just kicking tires. Obviously, I would have been better served hitting the books, but have never lost my affection for all things Norton and most things British. North Texans with the same affliction (or affectation?) annual converge at the Lake O’ The Pines for a celebration of same – along with some beer and (maybe) barbecue.
