Texas Ducati Dealers Open Their Homes – It’s What We Love About Texas

Ducati wants your attention, Texas. And to get it, Ducati and three of its Texas-based dealers are hosting a meet-and-greet, beginning in Austin on Tuesday, 2/19, running thru Houston on 2/21 and concluding at Ducati of Dallas on 2/23. With bikes as diverse as the Panigale V4 R, Ducati Multistrada 950S and the Scrambler-based Desert Sled, the Open Houses are a something-for-everyone smorgasbord of most – if not all – things red.

As we’ve noted, these are interesting times for the motorcycle industry; the Boomers, whose collective enthusiasm has fueled motorcycle sales since the mid-‘60s, are aging out, and there doesn’t seem to be an equally enthusiastic generation to fill that vacuum. But hope springs eternal, especially if you’re a multinational OEM with the financial backing of Volkswagen. And there truly is something for everyone on today’s Ducati showroom. The Panigale R superbike demands the most talent, commitment and – not incidentally – money, while the Scrambler-based Café and Full Throttle models could almost be considered entry-level bikes at their (relatively) entry-level price points.

Your RSVP, which can be found here, is required: https://www.ducatireadyforred.com/home/#invitation.

What: Italian motorcycle leader Ducati invites Ducati owners and enthusiasts to attend exclusive events in Austin (2/19), Houston (2/21) and Dallas (2/23) as part of their “Ready For Red” cross-country tour, set to bring Ducati’s newest 2019 motorcycles – including the new Diavel 1260 and the world’s most powerful production motorcycle, the Panigale V4 R – to Texas audiences. The three Texas stops are part of only 17 cities that Ducati will be visiting to showcase their unrivaled power and technological prowess. High-level execs will be in attendance, demonstrating the importance of the Texas market.

And if they’re serving wine, I’d ask for the red…
