All-new 2021 F-150 Details and Features

A webinar from Ford Motor Company gave us a great overview of all the new features the 2021 F-150 will offer, and it will not be too long before we can have vehicles we can review. Technology is the name of the game, and this once again raises the bar for pickup trucks. The new F-150 will deliver best-in-class towing and payload, as well as the most torque ever in the F-150! And if it’s ‘available’, know that means optional – load it up and this will be one very expensive ½-ton truck! Details provided by Ford follow:

New clamp pockets are built into the tailgate of every truck, so customers can hold materials down for precision work. An available flat Tailgate Work Surface also includes integrated rulers, a mobile device holder, cupholder and pencil holder.

Available 12-inch center screen utilizes five high-resolution cameras to provide multiple views, including a 360-degree overhead view to make maneuvering in tight spaces easy.

Available 7.2-kilowatt Pro Power Onboard™features four 120V 20A outlets and one NEMA L14-30R 240V 30A. The all-new F-150 features more exportable power than any light-duty full-size pickup, giving you the ability to use your truck as a mobile generator. It is available with three levels of electrical output depending on engine choice.

The all-new F-150 features an available stowable shifter that easily folds into the center console of the all-new F-150 with the push of a button, allowing full access to the large Interior Work Surface when in park.

Available Pro Trailer Backup Assist makes backing up a trailer as easy as turning a knob. The feature continues in the all-new F-150, and it is the only light-duty full-size pickup with this feature.

Every all-new F-150 comes standard with new cleats mounted to the sides of the tailgate to act as tie-down locations for extra-long items in the bed.

Available lockable, fold-flat, dividable storage extends the width of the interior under the rear seats and allows for safe storage of valuables. Great for long items like hunting gear, fishing rods or blueprints.

The new available Interior Work Surface makes living and working in the cabin easier with a large, flat deployable surface ideal for signing documents, using a laptop or just enjoying your lunch break. Available in both bench and captain’s seat configurations, from XL to Limited.

Class-exclusive Max Recline Seats available on King Ranch, Platinum and Limited models provide ultimate comfort during downtime. Max Recline Seats fold flat to nearly 180 degrees, with the bottom cushion rising to meet the back cushion and the upper back support rotating forward up to 10 degrees for maximum comfort.
