THE NEW RANGER ROVER

The all-new New Range Rover debuted in Grapevine last week at Land Rover Grapevine, a Park Place Dealership. The vehicle is now available in both short and long wheelbases, so you can decide on the length you need. (As well as the monthlies you want to bite off! Ed.). There is also an extended-range plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model that will be available for order in mid-2022. The new 434 horsepower powertrain provides 62 miles of near-silent pure electric driving; around town use electricity and on the road you use a little gas. 

The New Range Rover will offer voice control with Amazon Alexa built-in. In certain markets using natural voice commands enables customers to manage everything from their favorite music track selection to navigation, or phone while keeping their hands on the wheel. Range Rover has been awarded the PIVI pro infotainment technology and is elevated by the New Range Rover’s latest and largest touchscreen, a 13.1-inch curved floating screen. 

The interior is extremely clean and uncluttered – and intuitive. Range Rover’s relative simplicity allows you to watch the road rather than watching the dash. Notably, even the base New Range Rover SE boasts 20-way heated electric front seats with power reclining heated rear seats; SE seats are covered in Perforated Windsor and complemented by Duo-Tone headlining. 

The New Range Rover SV comes with the most advanced engineering ever offered, with a new 523 horsepower twin-turbocharged gas engine as its centerpiece. Looking at the vehicle from front to rear you know you’re looking at a Range Rover – it’s not just another SUV going down the road. 

This gives you a brief overview, but it is a gorgeous vehicle. Beyond the New Range Rover, the lineup continues to include the Range Rover Sport starting at roughly $70K, the Range Rover Villar beginning at $58,000, the compact Range Rover Evoque starting in the mid-$40s, the rugged Discovery at $56K and its smaller sibling, the Discovery Sport at $43K. 

The New Range Rover starts at around $100,000 and tops out just a tad over $200,000.
