It Gets Expensive! – Road Trip with the RAM 1500 TRX

The notes describe a road trip taken in a 2023 RAM TRX, which is only available in 4×4 and a Crew Cab with a 5’7″ box. The exterior of the vehicle is designed with widened fenders, which house LED smart beam intelligent headlamps, and are flared 8″ to accommodate 7 strategically placed air flow features. The RAM badge on the exterior also allows maximum airflow to the engine. The vehicle has a side rail for protection and 32″ Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires, as well as Bilstein Shocks and lots of underbody skid-plates and armor. The engine is a 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 with 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an 8-speed torque flight transmission.

The interior is performance-focused with a flat-bottom racing-inspired steering wheel and materials, while the tech features include a 12-inch touchscreen. The drive includes different drive modes for everyday driving, downtown Dallas, and fuel economy, which is rated at 10 city/14 highway/11 combined, and requires premium unleaded fuel with a 33-gallon fuel tank. The starting MSRP for the RAM TRX is $83,890. Check out the full review and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
