The 2022 Genesis GV70 First Drive at the Texas Truck Rodeo

The TRUCK RODEO:

Each fall, dozens of TAWA automotive journalists and manufacturer representatives from throughout the nation meet for a two-day evaluation of the industry’s best trucks and Sport Utility Vehicles. (SUV)

The 2021 Texas Truck Rodeo will be held at the unique Star Hill Ranch, an event facility and movie set that has been host to the Texas Auto Writer Drive events and dinners in the past. The extended property provides some unique photo and video opportunities again for this year’s event.

In previous years, the results from the Texas Truck Rodeo are widely covered in national publications such as Motor Trend, Yahoo News, Consumer Reports, and USA Today.

Manufacturers covet the prestigious awards they earn at the Texas Truck Rodeo and often mention the honors in their press releases, promotional materials and campaigns across the globe.

THE DYNAMIC GENESIS GV70 SUV

– The new Genesis GV70 represents an athletic, yet versatile option in Genesis’ emerging lineup of SUVs
– Inspired by the design philosophy of “Athletic Elegance”, GV70 features a sporty and dynamic appearance
– First-ever GV70 U.S. deliveries in calendar year 2021

The GV70 needs to do more than other SUVs. That’s why we made it our mission to give the GV70 the soul, dynamics and engagement typically found in a sport sedan. Delivering an experience revolving around the driver, the standard AWD system helps to enhance on-road confidence. With class-leading standard horsepower and an available 375-hp 3.5-liter twin-turbo engine, both power plants make this SUV a true Sport Utility Vehicle.
